Hello and thank you for your interest in this project!
Per the authors (See MGH Housestaff Manual Preface),
“’The White Book’ is a trusted resource for medical residents and other clinicians at MGH and a great tradition of the Department of Medicine Residency Program.”
“The White Book is comprised of a collective of clinical experiences on the medical services as well as an annual review of the literature.”
This book serves as a reference guide for diagnosing and treating many of the core medical conditions we will see throughout our careers as physicians.
In order to more fully integrate the MGM Whitebook into our studying, we are trying to create a comprehensive Anki deck, maintained through AnkiHub, to help us learn and retain this information.
This deck can also serve as a resource for questions banks for board studying (e.i., MKSAP, etc) and we can also tag cards for the question banks as well. Although that may be down the road.
The deck in its current form was created by Seedbrage using AnkiBrain and subsequently uploaded to AnkiHub (with AnkiBrain’s permission) by Icy_Time872.
After talking with Icy_Time872, I created a new card type specifically for this deck and then uploaded it to AnkiHub for collaboration.
The card type now has a text and extra, personal notes, MGH Whitebook, and Missed Questions section:
I edited the card styling so that the MGH Whitebook automatically opens when the card flips over
